August 26, 1986
School starts in 9 and 1/2 hours.
We were going to go icing tonight, but they couldn't find any big pieces of ice and it was going to rain, so all of us saw Back to the Future. It was the 4th time I saw it, but it was still fun.

Me and Jessica went to the little store 4 times today. We had a cookout with Melinda. Jessica and I babysat the Roberts' kids today.

Today Mom, Michael, Walt, Justin, Mary and me went to the Children's Museum.
We had Young Women in Excellance program tonight. Me and Donna did a skit for all the parents. In the middle of the skit, I burst out laughing. It was so embarrassing. I'm glad it's over. Good night.

August 19,1986
The Anderson kids came over on the 17th and 18th. They were wild. I got 2 more Ralph Macchio pictures. One is a 2 page and the other is 1 page.
We did a service project at Sis. Hilton's house.
I told Jim, Walt's friend that I was going to Hawaii with Ralph Macchio tonight and that he was going to propose to me. I told him we were going in a private jet. He believed EVERY word of it! It was SO funny! Walt said that after I left for mutual a private plane flew over and Jim said, "that must be them," and he waved. I'm mean, but it was fun.
Well, goodnight, whoever and goodnight, Ralph.

Abby left today. I babysat the Robert's kids. Today was so boring. Tomorrow some kids are coming to spend a few nights. I forgot their names.

August 13, 1986
Yesterday was so fun! I got dunked like 13 times. It was fun. I found out that Chris likes me. He is nice. I like him for a friend.
At Eagle Creek me and Ann got board so we made drip castles out of sand, but the boys kept stepping on them. Chris doesn't know that I know he like me.
Hey! Twist and Shout is on. Hold on a minute. Okay, I'm back. I'm taping it. Shake it up baby...ahh...ahh. ahh yeah! Sorry.
Today in Justin's prayer he said "Thank Thee that Stephanie has her hears perished (ears pierced) and her nose perished."
Cousin Abby is spending a few nights here. It will be SO FUN. I might take her to the movies to see The Great Mouse Detective. It will be fun.
Rochelle came over today. We went to the park. They are painting the equipment.
I love Ralph Macchio.
I don't want to admit it, but I think I still like Craig Vincent. He is nice. On the way home from Eagle Creek, I was sitting by Craig. We found a whole bunch of quarters and nickels. When we got near the airport I said to Linda that I felt like going somewhere, give me some money. Craig leaned over and said, "Take the quarters," so we were joking around about that. It was fun.
When me and Belle were on the fitness trail I got a big bug in my eye. When I closed my eye, the bug was still moving. It hurt. Then I saw something fall so I thought it was the bug, but it was my gum. It was funny.
I hope I have a good time with Abby. I hope Dad gets paid on Friday so I can take Abby to the movies and I can get two more Ralph Macchio magazines.
Dad got a promotion. If he gets promoted any higher, we will have to move to Houston. I hope we DON'T have to. Oh well. I have to go, bye.

Sorry, I'll tell you what happened on Aug. 8. I spent the night at Jessica's house so I couldn't talk. On August 9 it was too late to write (I think). On Aug 10 it was 12:30 AM. I had babysat all day.
Today was boring. Walt and Dad went to Louisville today. I mowed the lawn. We went to the wholesale price club. Michael got a ghetto blaster and I got a gym bag. He tapped the Whitney Houston tape for me.
I love Ralph Macchio.
Tomorrow I'm going to Eagle Creek with the youth group.
Michael gave me his old tape recorder. It just broke. The rewind button just popped out. Oh well. Tomorrow I might get it fixed. Good night. zzzz

Tomorrow I'm getting a perm from Mrs. Roberts. Mom went to Columbus to pick tomatoes today, so me and Michael stayed home for three hours.

August 6, 1986
Today was boring. Sarah came over. I babysat until a few minutes ago.
I saw this show about the 1939 World's Fair. That's the year they came out with color movies like The Wizard of Oz. They had this miniature city. It was supposed to be the modern city in 1960.
They had a modern kitchen. Everybody was amazed by the dishwasher. wow. And the year after that, the narrator's family got a refrigerator. It was neat. Well, I have to go. Bye, see you, night, tah tah, bon voyage, aloha, later, audios, good bye.

I hung up 4 more pictures of Ralph Macchio. Now I have 32 hanging up. I'm so comfortable, I don't have to do anything tomorrow, it's cool, my room is clean, I have 3 Ralph Macchios staring at me.
Oh yea, did I tell you I got my room done about a month and a half ago. My room used to have orange walls, yellow curtains and bed spread, and a green desk. Now everything is light blue or white, even my pillow and pillow cases, and of course my journal.
I haven't been writing much, for one, it has been too late, and for two, it has been boring. I have to go, it's getting late. Well, bye. I said BYE! GO! okay, bye.

The Vincents just drove up. I don't know why. Oh yay, to give back our lawn mower.
