Hi. Rochelle came to church today. She loved it.

Today on the way home from Mamaw's house, Walt threw up. I turned the music on my walkman up so loud, so I wouldn't hear it.

January 25, 1987

Hi. Today Rochelle came to church with us. I think she liked it. It was fun.

Dad, Walt and I went to Mamaw's house. The Super Bowl was today. The Broncos (yay) and the Giants (boo) were playing. The Broncos were getting creamed and smeared all over the turf. The game is still going on.

I like Tony a lot. I mean a lot--more than usual.

December 12, 1986

I feel SO GREAT! It's Friday! Today Melinda gave me more pictures of Ralph Macchio. I hung up all of my favorite pictures. Then a song I wanted to tape from when I was in 5th grade came on and I got it and its introduction. It's funny ,my favorite song makes me cry every time I hear it.

I still like Tony Matthews.

I hope I never move.

Mary has a music box that plays "Memories." One night I had a dream that Tempest, Mary and I were walking along the highway and the sun was setting behind some hills in the distance. There were hardly any cars. We were listening to Mary's music box. A truck came and hit all of us. I got out of the hospital ok, but Tempest and Mary didn't get out. Once I was walking along the same highway and I heard the song "Memories," and I went over and saw Mary's music box. I picked it up and I woke up.

When I told Mary about the dream, she didn't like the music box anymore.

December 7, 1986

Today I got thinking, what if I was going to move to Houston, and what my friends would do, and how much I would miss them, and what it would be like never to see Mary, Kate, Susan, Tony, or Jane or anyone else here again. I would die! And never to have activities with my youth group again, or never going to Grandma and Grandpa Day's house on Sundays. It would be terrible!

You know I still like Tony. I keep staring at him but he doesn't seem like he likes me anymore. I keep talking about him here, but nobody knows I like him.

I bore my testimony in church today.

I love ALL my friends and my Tuesday night activities and I NEVER want to move.

I had an 8:00 meeting in church. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Day's house. I'm dreading school! Bye.

Today Sis. Vincent taught our class. It was a blast. I had a bishop's interview. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Day's new house. That's about all that happened today, so bye.

July 18, 1986

Today I went swimming at Jessica's. My brothers went, too. We saw Ferris Beuller's Day Off. It was so funny. Saturday I saw Karate Kid II. Wednesday I saw Top Gun. Today I saw Ferris Beuller's Day Off.

I like Ralph Macchio the star of Karate Kid. Slight problem, he's 23 years old. He has short black hair, little lips, little nose and big smooth brown eyes.

I got a new watch today. It's off white.

Grandma and Grandpa Day and Kami are moving this weekend. They gave us their old blue couch.

It's 10:08 and burning hot.

I got a sunburn and mosquito bites all over my legs. I have 43 which is almost half of what I got from camp, but it was still fun.
